Subject: Interactive Media

Dear Friends,

You’ve told your story through whatever discipline you work in. You’ve created something primarily in film or television, music, visual or performing arts or literature, and you have a website that provides context and a few samples. Increasingly, websites now go beyond the project they are created to support and explore new ways to tell the story. They might find a different way to express the theme, add new information, attract different audiences, or turn a passive experience into an active or interactive one. Potentially, you are expanding your audience and your impact. Where do you start, and how do you work with collaborators on interactive productions? Join us at NYFA on March 27 to hear hackathon pioneer Adnaan Wasey describe the process and provide some recent examples.

Learn more about Interactive Media Production with Adnaan Wasey on March 27 at www.artspire24.eventbrite.com.

This event is not only for film and video artists. Adnaan hopes to speak to other media artists, musicians, and visual and graphic artists of all kinds. If it sounds right for you, I hope you’ll attend.

In any case, have a happy spring. What a relief to have the temperature climb above freezing.

Best regards,
Matthew
